I step out of my home this morning and drove, I swear, only a mile or two to take these two images of the mountains. I have taken images of them before but the light, the clouds were a little different this morning than they have been in the past. It is not the subject that interests me as much as it is the light. It is the light that makes it interesting, that brings life to it, emotion.

Still working on getting the right light at the right time of day. Here is an evening shot (mountain overlooks the south end of Salt Lake County) and two morning shots (mountain overlooking the northern end of Utah County at the mouth of American Fork Canyon). All shot are looking east and the mountains run north/south. All shots were at F8/ISO 100 in aperture priority mode.
