This past weekend I was fortunate enough to go on a photo shoot with three friends to the town of Calvert, TX on Highway 6 about 25 miles north of Bryan, TX.  The town is in decline but it is none the less a wonderful place to shoot.  The residents are very friendly and very willing to tell you the history Calvert. If you like to shoot old Victorian homes it is a great place to go.  If you are into antique shopping there are a couple of great places as well.  Here are some of my images.

  1. Love the staircase,especially!

  2. Clayton, you shouldn't keep this blog a secret. You have some exceptional stuff posted here. Love the stuff from Calvert but I still haven't seen one of the crypt from anyone. Mine didn't make the grade so maybe I am going to have to go back.

  3. These photos remind me of some ghosttowns in white tail Montana. Wow! What do you charge for one of these in a downloadable jpg?

    1. I am currently not set up for selling images. I will set this up as quickly as I can but then next week I will be going out of the country for the last two weeks of May. If it's not too much to ask, I will get back to you at the beginning of June when I get back and then we can discuss which image(s) your interested in. Thank you

  4. Shannon, just to let you know that I have not forgotten you. Two things. First I have decided that I will not sell digital images, i.e., send you a jpg or tiff image. What I can do is send you a print from an image. I do this in order to maintain control of my images. Secondly I have yet to set up a Paypal account system on my blog. If you wish an image(s) I will entertain your sending me a check and then I would send you the image(s).
